No matter if you are playing country, folk or Irish protest songs, sometimes you just need your mandolin to be LOUDER, and as luck would have it, we can help you out!
1962 Gibson EM-150 comes with a rawkus dog-eared P-90 pickup, solid spruce top, solid maple back and sides, and a rock-solid mahogany neck. The instrument is full of character, with a previous owner taking it upon themselves to engrave their name and initials into the trapeze cover and on the back of the machine head convers. Action is amazingly low at the nut for an instrument of this age, and is a dream to play all the way up the neck. The binding on the back of the mando around the neck has previously been repaired and appears to be rock solid, and this has been taken into account with pricing.
It comes with the original pots still installed (500k vol, 250k tone) and the original Bumblebee cap, but with replacement knobs
